This is about a boy who happened to become involved with one of the biggest crisis there ever was. Eragon lives with his Uncle Garrow and his cousin Roran. He hunts for his family. While he was hunting in the spine, a blue stone appeared in front of him, in some form of magic. He later finds out that the blue stone was a dragon egg and he secretly raises him until the Ra'zac comes to get the egg. The Ra'zacs destroy his home and kills Uncle Garrow. There's only one thing he wants to do in his life now and that is to get revenge on his Uncle. So he sets off to his journey and Brom, the storyteller, knows lots about this magic and dragon things and he assists Eragon on his journey. Brom teaches Eragon about magic and swordfighting. After arriving to the city Teirm, they get attacked and a man named Murtagh comes to save them. But Brom got severely hurt and he ends up dying but before he dies, he tells Eragon that he was a dragon rider and his dragon's name was Saphira. After this event, Eragon and Murtagh travel to the city of Gil'ead to find the Varden, a group of rebels that wants to overthrow King Galbatorix. Eragon gets captured and thrown in prison with the elf he has been dreaming about. With the help of Murtagh and Saphira, Eragon and the elf was able to escape.

Book One: The Lost City Of Farr
This takes place at a territory called Cloral, where there isn't a single piece of dryland on the planet. All the technologies there have something to do with water. They have really advanced technologies and they can do many things with water. They have air-globes, water sleds, skimmers, and other things! This place didn't seem to have anything wrong with it, except for the fact that Sanit Dane was here. Then you know that something is going to happen. When two habitats were going to exchange for some foods, chaos started. They found out that all the underwater farms has been poisoned. Now there weren't any good food anywhere. There was a legend of a city underwater that helped everyone above the water. They were the only ones that could save the people of Cloral. But Saint Dane found the location of this place and he went to destroy it. Bobby and Uncle Press and Spader (traveler of Cloral) go to save this place. But no matter how hard they tried, they couldn't save it. But the aquaneers from all over Cloral came and attacked Saint Dane. He was then stopped but he got away. The people of Farr could now go and save the whole planet.

Pendragon Summary of Book One: The Merchant of Death

This series is about travelers who go around to different territories and different worlds to help the people that live there from a terrible crisis that's about to happen or is already happening. Every place has a traveler and Bobby Pendragon is the traveler from Second Earth. He goes through different territories to save the people from destruction.

Book One: The Merchant of Death
Bobby Pendragon goes to Denduron, a place where it goes back a long time and they don't have very much tecnology, to help the Milago people defeat the Bedoowan people, who has been enslaving the Milago people for generations. The Milago people decide to fight for their freedom. But the Bedoowan people was strong in numbers and they were especially trained to be able to fight. So the Milago people decide to win this war by using these explosive powder called tak. It can be formed into a ball and with small impact, it will explode. The Milago found this place when they mined it from underground. They came up with the plan that they hope they could use to blow up all of the Bedoowan people. They filled up a cart full of tak and planned to blow the whole stadium up where the people gathered. But Uncle Press (bobby's close friend) and Bobby find a way to stop this and it works. But the people of Milago still wants to fight and the war becomes a hand to hand combat between the two people. Meanwhile, Bobby and Loor (another traveler) comes face to face with Saint Dane (bad guy who wants everything to fall into his hands) and they end up blowing up all of the tak mine and that ends the war. The two tribes need to work together to survive and everything turns out to be great.

I started this book because this book was recommended to me according to my taste. I really enjoy it and I recommend this book to everyone!

This is a fantasy book. I like books that has magic and adventure in them. This is one of those books! It starts out as a boy that has a regular life that suddenly gets his whole life switched around. Throughout the book, he writes to his friend using a magic portal. That's the only way his friend and his other friend know what's going on to him. Each chapter keeps on alternating between those 2 situations. The boy is having adventures, while his friends are trying to find out what they can do to try to save them.

I say, if you like to fantasy books, this book is the one to read!
The author let's the scene go back and forth, each having it's own adventures and I predict that the two stories will connect and unite together.
